Arts & Ecology Centre

The accidental arts and ecology centre is situated on a six-acre, off grid site at 1200 feet in the Cambrian Mountains.

We have a museum orchard of over 450 varieties of apple and pear, wildflower meadows and forest garden and are also home to Welsh Mountain Cider.

Our aim is to promote regenerative agriculture, beauty, biodiversity, art, music, good food and drink.

Join us for orchard tours, events, cider tasting and camping.


The Cider Barn at Welsh Mountain Cider will be open for on and off sales this coming Saturday from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Hopefully a bit of live music, too!

It was a lovely afternoon for the #orchard tour & #cider tasting this afternoon - the orchard #wildflowers are superb right now.
Even a small pond is great for wildlife. Among other critters at the Accidental Arts and Ecology Centre we have newts, frogs and toads as well as many invertebrates. Here's an exoskeleton left by a dragonfly larva as it transformed into a dragonfly .
